heart shaped clutch

Hi everyone. Well i'm trapped in my house cause we got snowed in and we haven't had this much snow in the east coast since 96'. So i thought i'll post up something new for you guys. I always wanted a heart shaped clutch every since top shop came out with a lovely floral one i had to have one. So the other day i was shopping at TjMaxx and i found this lovely pink one it's by Expressions Nyc and cost $20. Also another cool part about this clutch is that it can turn silver as well if you rub on it the sequin flip over to silver. I can't wait to wear this bag out in the city at night!

DIY Glitter nails

What you will need...

piece of paper, spoon, glitter(which you can purchase at any craft store, and clear nail polish.

so i got this idea from a magazine but i can't remember which one. They said it was perfect for the holidays. So i went to the craft store and picked up a glitter which was only $1 and i picked up 3 colors gold, purple, and a royal blue. the clear nail polish i'm using is by Sally Hansen in diamond shine it's a base & top coat. so you just paint one nail at a time in clear polish then put some glitter on your paper and pick it up with a spoon and sprinkle it over that nail while it's wet of course, then use the back of the spoon to set the glitter in place the finish off with two more coats of clear polish. And there you have it.

The only thing is the glitter i bought was a bit too chunky for me so i think i'll go back to the craft store and pick of this set of 12 pretty craft glitters from Martha Stewart which are much finer. These runs around $20-$25.

Eyeko<3

I just adore this nail polish from Eyeko it's called "Punk Polish" i got it a in an Eyeko Vip set which is on there website right now www.eyeko.com it came with Eyeko mascara , Eyeko touch up & go concealer and Eyeko touch up & glow highlighter, Eyeko nail polish in punk polish and vamp, Eyeko tinted cream, Eyeko cream, Eyeko glitter liquid eyeliner, Eyeko rosy pink lip Gloss, Eyeko silver shopper tote, 5 Eyeko badges. I got all that for $41 that's a steal. But the new Vip set doesn't come with the tinted cream and regular cream in stead it comes with a minty fat balm which is really nice as well i was thinking about getting that as well.

walking with green

Just wanted to share with you guys how pretty this OPI nail polish is, it's called "gargantuan green grape" & it was one of the trickiest colors to find every time i went back to the store to look for it , it was sold out and i actually spotted it in a hair salon. For some odd reason i decided i wanted to try it on my toes but i liked it. I would describe this color as a pastel creamy green =)

adding my own touch

I added my own touch to one of my make-up storages. I found a cute wall paper online printed it out cut it to fit just the front of the drawers, then i used a tiny piece of tape on each side to hold it in place. I'm using this little drawer to put just my mac items in but not all fit. So i guess i'll but a similar white container 2x's bigger and add the same design like i did in this one. & right next to it i think i'll start adding my Lula magazines i want to collect them all ^_^

Do it yourself (DIY) earring holder.

Hello everyone, just wanted to share a quick tip on how i made this earring holder...

what i needed

large shopping bag i used a Juicy Couture bag which i thought was cute cause it had a little brown bow on it.

a pair of scissors

I cut out one side following it's fold then i started poking the earring threw and decided i also wanted to add some larger ones at the bottom. It also has a thick brown which you can't see in the picture but it's one of the reasons why i chose to use a shopping bag cause it has a handle already so it makes hanging up easier. I have more larger earring but i'll see if i can come out with a way to display them like i did with this one.

hello kitty from Hong Kong to Virginia

I was so excited to get my package today in the mail! shipped to me all the way from Hong Kong, a super cute Hello Kitty  make-up bag/clutch. It also comes with a little square shaped mirror which you can take it. I think i would be using it mostly as a clutch since its so pretty. It would be a shame to throw it in my purse to hide :)

i try and drink plenty of water, use make-up wipes and wear good moisturizer.

wow i have so many but i would have to say my top 5 is.. Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs Pear, Miss Dior Cherie, Gucci Flora, and YSL baby doll.

What are your haircare secrets?
leave your conditioner in hair for at least 10 minutes while in the shower when you rinse it out your hair is extra soft.

How do you pamper yourself?
get a mani and pedi, tanning followed by a good nap with listening to rainfall sounds on my iPhone. ahhh :D

What is your beauty pet peeve?
too much blush is never okay.

What would your desert island must haves be?
my iphone, magazines, a good spf lip balm, loads of tanning oil, coconut lotion, shampoo and conditioner, and a razor. 

Finally, do you have a beauty philosophy?
always get plenty of sleep it does help keep a fresher face.

Spring has sprung

Spring is here so it's time for me to whip out the heart shaped Lolita sunglasses. I'm actually looking for larger ones with a mirror reflect. I really do love spring time you get to see all the pretty flowers coming out and the trees don't look so dead as they did in the winter time. which reminds me i have to go into Lush and look at all there spring time item!!!!
